Fine Art Portaits

Portraits are important not only for the art of it, but an original fine art portrait is also a wonderful vehicle to express love, appreciation, and honor to or for a subject. A fine art portrait can show character, emotion, and expression in a way that photographs sometimes do not.

Portraits have been a passion for Angie Durbin since she completed oil portraits of her grandparents at age 15. She went on a few years later to complete a minor in Art at East Central University. A career in portraiture was put on hold while she had the privilege and pleasure of pursuing a paralegal career. During that time, she continued to draw and paint portraits for family and friends, and has now carved out time and space to practice her passion in oil, pastels, and drawing.

Additional faces in the painting are slightly more, and combining people from different photos carries an extra charge. Single color oil on paper and two color pastel on paper are priced lower.
